Dive into the history of Allentown with my "Allentown" print! Each letter represents a different piece of Allentown, and the history and culture the city holds:

A: Before the land that’s now Allentown was settled by immigrants, the Lenape tribe hunted and harvested the area, rich in deer, trout and other game.

L: The liberty bell was kept in Allentown to keep it from the British

L: Allentown is rich in art and music, both of which are really needed for a city to thrive, and they bring us all together.

E: For hundreds of years now, immigrants have come from all over the world to Allentown.

N: Allentown used to have quite a few breweries, and piece of history that’s slowly being erased from the city as vacant brewery buildings are being taken down.

T: Here is to all the other manufactured products that were created within the city limits. While it’s truly impossible to fit everything here, some things, just to name a few were clock gears, silk, wagon wheels, barbed wire (especially during WWII), there were quite a few butchers, and the broiler manufacturing plant at the bottom stands to represent everything else.

O: America’s favorite game cannot be forgotten, especially not when we have our own team. Here’s to the Iron Pigs

W: Speaking of sports, we can’t leave out the Phantoms

N: And to save the best for last, I don’t know a soul who hasn’t at one time or another enjoyed the Great Allentown Fair!

Prints are offered in 10*20" and 15*30," and are printed with a half inch border for easy framing and matting.
