When my brothers and I were children, my parents and grandparents would take us for walks up to Fourth Street in Catasauqua, where we'd play in all the leaves that'd fallen from the ancient trees that line the sidewalks. We'd stuff our pockets with the prettiest leaves for art projects, and a few acorns to take back home to hide away until spring cleaning.
